Lubbock Health Care Center celebrates the season with joy, friends and jolly times
Lubbock Health Care Center celebrated the Christmas season in a jolly, big way!First, there was merry fun with residents hand-crafting decorations for the “Santa Elf Toy Land.”Activities Director, Serena Beaty, booked numerous entertainment events for the season, including a cultural outing to enjoy the traditional “Nutcracker Ballet” presented by Ballet Lubbock. Several ballerinas volunteer at Lubbock Health Care, and residents truly enjoyed the performance.Mini and Friends, a local animal therapy group of miniature horses, galloped their way into hearts and brought smiles to everyone.Students from Wright Elementary came bearing handmade ornaments, read holiday stories and sang Christmas carols for residents.“Critters for Christ” brought in a Christmas Parade – “Woofing All The Way.” Lubbock Health Care Center will soon be celebrating their third anniversary with this pet therapy program, and residents look forward to visiting with their furry friends.Residents also enjoyed the Tour of Lights, riding around town in Lubbock Health Care’s tra
