Q. How do I clean the CuddleStar?
Remove Velcro closure on JollyPop pacifier. Hand wash CuddleStar; air dry.
Wash JollyPop pacifier before initial use. Place pacifier in warm water using a mild liquid soap; or to sterilize, place pacifier into boiled water for 2 - 4 minutes.

Q. Are CuddleStars dishwasher safe?
No. We do not recommend placing the CuddleStar in the dishwasher.

Q. Are the pellets in the CuddleStar baby safe?
Yes. The pellets are sewn in separate safety sack and inserted inside.
The CuddleStar conforms to the ASTM F963-11 safety code requirements and is baby safe.

Q. My baby has a latex allergy. Is this pacifier made of latex?
No. JollyPop pacifier is 100% medical-grade silicone. JollyPop is used by many hospital NICUs and Nurseries nationwide.

Q. How long will CuddleStar last before I need to replace it?
We recommend replacement after 3 months of use.

Q. My baby used CuddleStar in the hospital. Is it ok for home use?
Yes, CuddleStar can go home when the baby is discharged. The non-woven fabric is perfectly suited to hospital environment but may not hold up to repeated washing at home. We recommend replacing after 3 months of use.

Q. Is it safe?
Yes, CuddleStar passes all safety regulations.
Do not leave a child unattended when using CuddleStar.
Remember to practice safe sleep habits: 
Always put baby to sleep on his/her back on a firm mattress. 
Avoid soft bedding (pillows, comforters, blankets, etc) because these present suffocation hazards.
Nothing in the crib but the baby! 
For sleep time, remove all toys, stuffed animals and decorative items.

Product Specifications:
Phthalate-free, latex-free, BPA-free and DEHP-free. Manufactured in the USA.
CuddleStar: Polyester non-woven outer and inner layer. Velcro closure for pacifier. New, polypropylene beads contained in inner layer. Meets ASTM F963-11 safety code requirements and is baby safe.
JollyPop Pacifier: 100% medical grade silicone.
Complies with USA Standard 16CFR 1511.

Instructions For Use:
Clean pacifier before initial use. Single-patient use only.
Preemie: For 30-40 week gestational age infants and/or for small gestational age babies.
Newborn: For babies 0-3 months without teeth (not suggested for the stage of teething).

To Clean the CuddleStar:
Hand wash. Air dry. Repeated washing may weaken the fabric and seams. Check frequently and discard if you find any signs of wear. Replace after 3 months of use.

To Clean the JollyPop Pacifier:
Clean pacifier before initial use. Open Velcro closure to remove pacifier. Place pacifier in warm water using a mild liquid soap. To sterilize, place pacifier into boiled water for 2 - 4 minutes.
Do not place the CuddleStar in the dishwasher.

WARNING: Do not tie pacifier around baby’s neck as it presents a danger of strangulation.
